West Jakarta Government together with West Jakarta Metro Police Resort and Kodim 0503, held a morning assembly for security during Christmas and New Year events at Mayor Office's yard on Thursday (12/20).

Satpol PP and West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. are ready to assist security during Christmas and New Year events

West Jakarta Mayor, Rustam Effendi explained that his party and three pillars officers were ready to give their best service, especially for residents who celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve by maintaining a peaceful and safe environment.

"Satpol PP and West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. are ready to assist security during Christmas and New Year events," he said.

West Jakarta Metro Resort Police Head, Comr. Pol. Hengki Haryadi explained that 1,500 joint personnel of police, TNI, Satpol PP, and another related department in West Jakarta Government would be deployed to ensure security during Christmas and New Year.

"They will be on standby in 191 points, including churches, shopping centers, and other crowded places," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, West Jakarta Metro Resort Police Operation Section Head, AKBP Priyo Utomo Teguh Santoso explained that several tactical posts were alerted on Jl. Tomang, Central Park, Season City, Cengkareng, Kalideres Terminal, Singalaga Toll exit lane, and Kota Tua.

"We have also coordinated with church administrator for conducting security," he stated.
